Pau Benitez is a  theatre, film and television actress. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts, majoring in performance, from the University of the Philippines Diliman (UP).


She has performed in various theatre productions of the Dulaang Unibersidad ng Pilipinas (Dulaang UP), UP Playwright’s Theatre, Barefoot Collab and Virgin Labfest (VLF).


In UP theatre productions, her most notable plays were Dulaang UP’s Umaaraw Umuulan, Kinakasal ang Tikbalang directed by Jose Estrella (2013,) Dulaang UP’s Ang Nawalang Kapatid directed by Dexter M. Santos (2014 & 2015), Dulaang UP’s Fathers and Sons directed by Tony Mabesa (2017), UP Playwright’s Theatre’s The Chairs & The Lessons directed by Chesca de Guzman (2017) and UP Playwright’s Theatre’s Si Mideya (Medea) directed by Philip Mathew Gloria (2024).


In VLF theatre productions, she portrayed the role of Balo 2 in the VLF 17 Hinga - Mga Balo directed by Adrienne Vergara (2022) and took on the role of Odeng in the VLF 19 Pintog - Lipistik at Pulbura directed by Charles Yee (2024). She also performed in Barefoot Collab’s Pride Plays entitled Unica Hijas directed by Pat Valera (2023).


In the film and television industry, her most remarkable projects were Liway directed by Kip Oebanda, Tayo Muna Habang Hindi Pa Tayo directed by Denise O’hara, MIA and Murder by Tsismis directed by Veronica Velasco, Suntok sa Buwan directed by Geo Lomuntad, I Killed my Mother directed by Rae Villanueva, Buy Bust and On the Job 2 directed by Erik Matti and Widow’s War, a television series directed by Zig Dulay on GMA.


She also enrolled herself in Meisner Studio Manila, a performing arts school under the mentorship and supervision of Angeli Bayani.


Pau Benitez is also a storyteller in Adarna House and a member of the Theatre Actors Guild

(TAG).
