Actor, Teacher, Director, Producer, Choreographer
Meann Espinosa is a Senior Artist-Teacher at PETA, where she has been a member since 2007. She earned the Outstanding Female Featured Performance award at the 2011 Gawad Buhay Awards for her role as Miss Martinez in PETA’s William. Meann collaborated with contemporary dancer and choreographer Arco Renz on COKE, a piece that premiered in Belgium in 2015 and was featured at the JULIDANS festival in the Netherlands in 2016. She was also granted two residencies in South Korea, where she wrote, directed, and performed The Village That Couldn’t Hear / Hear, Here.
Her recent stage work includes PETA’s The Tempest Reimagined, directed by Nona Shepphard of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art; Dulaang UP’s Kung Paano Nanalo sa Karera si Rosang Taba; and Tanghalang Pilipino’s Manila Notes, directed by acclaimed Japanese writer-director Oriza Hirata. Additionally, she directed Identité at the 2024 Virgin Labfest.
Meann is an accomplished actor in theater, film, television, and commercials, and currently endorses Palawan Pawnshop and Palawan Express Padala. Her screen credits include Marry Me, Marry You, Suntok Sa Buwan, Hello Stranger, Simula sa Gitna, and Un/Happy For You. took up BA Social Science at the University of the Philippines.
