Fred Layno is a freelance theatre, TV, commercial, and film actor. He graduated with a Masters degree in Theatre Arts from the University of the Philippines Diliman. He played the role of Imam in the 2024 staging of Sintang Dalisay directed by Guelan Luarca after the late Ricky Abad. He also played Raul in Ang Tuyom as part of the 2023 Virgin Labfest. He was also part of the ensemble in Ateneo Blue Repertory’s Zsazsa Zaturnnah the Musical…’Yun Lang (2023). He was also part of Dulaang UP’s Nana Rosa (2020), Fuente Ovejuna (2019), and Six Characters in Search of an Author (2018). He appeared in various TV series such as Senior High (2023), Abot Kamay na Pangarap (2023), and I Love You 1000 (2022).
