Cara began her career at a very young age playing Tiny Tim in Repertory Philippines’ Scrooge and was recently seen playing the role of Maria Blanca/Adarna in The Quest for the Adarna. She was also seen playing the role of Beth in Repertory Philippines Little Women which earned her the Gawad Buhay award for Best Female Featured Actress in a musical and was nominated in the Aliw Awards for her role as Yayang in Miong. She’s worked nonstop in musicals and plays including,Sa Wakas,  Rapunzel: A Very Hairy Fairytale, The Vibrator Play, Beauty and the Beast, HAIR, A Little Princess, Stepping Out, Trumpets' A Horse and His Boy, Ephesus Teatron's Once on This Island, 9 Works Theatrical’s RentPriscilla: Queen of the Desert, The Wizard of Oz, Jekyll and Hyde, Peter Pan the Musical, Sweeney Todd, The Fantasticks, A Christmas Carol, Fiddler on the Roof, Evita, Carousel, Miong, Annie, Oliver!, Once on this Island, Pinocchio, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Mulan, Jr., and Aladdin Jr., for Repertory Philippines to name a few. She also performed in the 2016 Palanca Awards’ 1st prize winner for a full length play, “The Floret Road”, written by Dr. Joachim Emilio Antonio. She was also a member of the Repertory Philippines Short-Stoppers and is a member of theShowstoppers. Cara is also an Instructor for Repertory Philippines Summer Camp. She is now the Assistant Director for Repertory Philippine’s Theatre for Young Audiences.
