Bea Racoma is primarily an actor, improviser, and writer interested in art that explores and challenges gender, politics, and social norms.


Her acting credits include S/ALITAN: Dalawang Dula (Mad Child Productions, 2024), Makbetamaximus: Theater of Destruction (Tanghalang Ateneo, 2021), which screened at the International Film Festival Rotterdam 2024, the award-winning Nana Rosa (UP Playwrights’ Theatre, 2019-20) and The House of/Ang Tahanan ni Bernarda Alba (Dulaang UP, 2019), and Lysistrata ng Bakwit (Tanghalang Ateneo, 2018). She has also performed at the 2023 Manila Improv Festival, the 2022 Singapore Improv Festival, and Third World Improv’s 2022 14-hour Fringeprov Festival, and is a member of the Improv Sessionistas.


Bea has done marketing work for the critically acclaimed stagings of Bar Boys and The Last Five Years (Barefoot Theatre Collaborative, 2023 & 2024) and the Cultural Center of the Philippines’ Children’s Biennale: Balangáw (CCP & Black Canvas, 2022). As a Production Manager, she has managed Orphie and The Book of Heroes (Ateneo Blue Repertory, 2024) and Stop Kiss (Positive Space, 2019).

Outside of theatre, her poems have been published in Ilahás and HEIGHTS Ateneo.
