Anyah is a Filipino-American artist who hails from “Little Puerto Rico,” Florida. She made her Philippine debut playing Snow White in Repertory Philippines’ Snow White & The Prince (2023-2024) and Queen Femina/understudy Zsazsa in Ateneo blueREP’s Zsazsa Zaturnnah the Musical… ‘Yun Lang! (2023). She also played Rosmawatti (Rosaline) in Sintang Dalisay (2024) under Areté x Tanghalang Ateneo.
She graduated from the Osceola County School for the Arts as a dance major with a musical theater focus, for which she was nominated Best Leading Actress in a Musical for Sarah Brown in Guys & Dolls (2019) and Anita in West Side Story (2018) under the Applause Awards. Other favorite roles include Veruca Salt in Willy Wonka the Musical, Éponine in Les Misèrables, and Teen Fiona in Shrek the Musical. During her time with UST, she won the New York Young Performer’s Prize College Musical Theater division (2021) for singing in English and German.
Outside of theater, she is a recording artist greatly influenced by Selena Quintanilla, Janet Jackson, and MYMP and enjoys singing in Spanish, Italian, German, French, Russian, and the occasional Tagalog.
She also enjoys femme/heels, rhythmic gymnastics, and muay thai.
