Adrienne Vergara is an actor, director, mascoteer, voice actor, host, performance-maker, shadowsmith, and co-founder of a new art jam collective, Mahiwaga St.


Adrienne won the 67th FAMAS Best Supporting Actress Award in 2019 for Dog Days film, and nominated for Bliss in 2018. For Ang Awit ng Dalagang Marmol, she won the Best Featured Actress in a Play in Aliw Awards 2023.


Classically-trained in Theatre Arts in University of the Philippines - Diliman and Philippine High School for the Arts, she has performed in numerous productions in The Virgin Labfest, Sipat Lawin Ensemble, Komunidad X, Tanghalang Pilipino, and Dulaang UP. Her most recent plays include Sidhi’t Silakbo, Kumprontasyon: A Color for Tomorrow, and Are You Ready to Take the Law into Your Own Hands  for Asia TOPA Festival (Melbourne). She also acted in award-winning films and series such as Tokwifi, Sila-Sila, Ang Hupa, Gaya sa Pelikula to name a few.


During the COVID lockdown, she directed Kwentong Bata (The Children’s Hour) for Dulaang Sipat Lawin. She also directed Mga Balo, The Report, and Titser Kit — plays that tackled the bloody drug war and Lumad killings.


Her independent mascot work, Yenyen de Sarapen, premiered in Karnabal Festival and performed in Zürcher Theater Spektakel (Zurich), Asia TOPA Festival XO State Dark (Melbourne), and NeoFilipinos: 15 Minutes of Your Time (CCP). Sailor Yenyen was exhibited and performed at the UP Vargas Museum.
