Franco has always considered the performing arts as his true passion. After receiving his undergraduate studies in Keio University in Japan where he majored in History, Franco began his career in Television co-hosting for the dance show “Eezy Dancing”, of ABC 5 in 1996. Soon after, he co-hosted the highly rated dance show “Keep On Dancing” of ABS-CBN.

Franco was tapped to play the role of Bharata, the youngest brother of Rama in the renowned Philippine production of Rama at Sita in 1999.  It was during this performance that Franco found his calling in theatre. His other notable stage performances are, Floy Quintos’ LIVES, Trumpets’ productions of Honk, The Ugly Duckling, for which he garnered the “2004 Aliw Award for Best Stage Actor in a Musical” and Joseph the Dreamer (2006 & 2009). Dulaang UP’s St. Louis Loves Dem Filipinos the Musical and Isang Panaginip na Fili, for which he won the “2009 Aliw Award for Best Stage Actor in a Musical”. Tanghalang Pilipino’s Banaag at Sikat, CCP’s Virgin Labfest’s Isa Pang Soap Opera, Repertory Philippines’ Sweeney Todd. Franco essayed the role of Antonius in DLSU’s centennial production A Fire In The Soul. He also appeared in 9Works Theatrical’s A Christmas Carol, You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown and Grease.

He is best known for playing the role of Vice President Albert Hernandez in ABS-CBN’s FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.  He is currently appearing in ABS-CBN’s The Broken Marriage Vow as Atty. Dante Pugong.

Franco’s film credits are Kimmy Dora and the Temple Of Kiyeme, Oh My Girl, Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow, Anatomiya Ng Korupsyon, and Maledicto.

Besides theater, television and film, Franco has two recorded albums under his belt, beginning with his self-titled album in 1999 and With You in 2002.  He was also in the original cast recording of Rama at Sita, St. Louis Loves Dem Filipinos and A Fire In The Soul.
